Easeus Partition Master Home Edition is one of the best partition managers available. Home edition is its freeware version that only supports 32-bit windows.
The interface is just like Norton Partition Manager. We have the “partition operations” list on the left and the list of disks and their properties at the right. The Home Edition program can create a partition, and also delete, copy and resize/move the partition. The Wizard interface is available for copying an entire disk or partition. Dynamic disks are supported. But support for GPT disks is still not available in any partition manager.
The operations are not done instantaneously. That means we can queue a lot of operations at once, like resizing, adding new partition with the size we recovered, formatting it with NTFS for example, and further modifications.
Version 4 is quite faster than the older ones. It moves the files effectively when resizing a partition so that the operations are faster and safer. Resizing partitions can be done without restarting if the files needn’t be transferred in the disk. Version 4 doesn’t have the option to split or merge partitions.
